This 85-unit, six level, mixed use building is a new construction that creates a dramatic marker at this crossroads location of Castro, Dubose Triangle and the Mission. The team was challenged to create a living environment the embraced the brisk activity of the neighborhood while providing livable units in this urban setting. ARS assisted the owner in achieving these goals by providing innovative building code strategies and permit coordination throughout the process. ARS managed preliminary meetings with the AHJ’s to decipher methods to allow for different types of construction to be comparable. ARS provided permit expediting throughout the site permit and addenda process including street improvements. ARS provided cohesion between the building final and plan check agreement to allow for final occupancy.
