ARS provided building code and permit expediting services for this historic renovation and change of use from a clothing manufacturer to a 3 story school. This E occupancy building presented particularly challenging obstacles to gaining approval for the K through 2nd grade children to have access to the class rooms located on the 2nd floor. ARS coordinated agreement between the SFFD and DBI regarding the 2nd floor egress point and it was agreed that the school could use 1/3rd of the 2nd floor for the younger students.
